When it comes to my expectations from you and I easy going and don't expect too much. I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a family that would be happy to have me live with them as well as work for them. As you can tell from the picture uploaded onto my profile I am a very family oriented person therefore I'm looking for a family that will welcome me into their family and treat me as family. I would prefer to have an aunt relationship with the children rather than a 'nanny' relationship.

My name is Lauren. I am a 17 year old female (I turn 18 this October) British student. I am currently living in Merthyr Tydfil which is a town located near Cardiff in South Wales. I have just finished my first year in college studying A levels and have decided to take some time off. My reason for this is that I have now decided what I want to do as a profession and have decided to take an alternative route into that profession. the alternative route starts here, with me hopefully gaining a few years of experience in childcare and taking care of children. All of my childcare experience is from family and friends. I have a very big family with lots of babies and children and I have played a big part in all of their lives. I have been babysitting them from about the age of 11 or 12. Don't be discouraged by this because I can assure you that I am just as experienced as someone with countless hours of experience with non family childcare. All of the childminding and babysitting I have done for family and friends has allowed me to gain great skills in working with and caring for children and I'm excited to start my next adventure as a Au Pair. I have babysat children of all different ages and abilities, I also have experience in dealing children with ADHD and Autism. I would like to become an Au Pair either abroad or somewhere else in the UK because its time for me to start to pursue the career that I am hoping for and this is where I start and where I am excited to start. If you were to give me the opportunity to be your Au Pair I would engage your child/children in all sorts of activities such as arts and crafts, sports, cooking etc.
