DESCRIPTION
I'm Verónica.
I'm 27 and I live in the South of Spain. I would like to find a family (and be part of it) for some weeks during summer. I am a PE teacher and I'm currently working in a high school in Cádiz.
I have a lot of experience in both, taking care of children and teaching them.
I lived in London for two years in which I worked as an au pair and a nanny. I stayed with two families and they were very happy with me, I could ask for recommendations if you want to know more. I also combined my job with some volunteering. I volunteered in three different schools and I got my QTS. Afterwards, I came back to Spain so I started a master and at the same time I was working in an English academy with children between 4 to 15.
During the last two summers I have worked in a program that takes care of children at risk of exclusion. This has been a very rewarding job in which I had to do all type of activities to keep children entertained and at the same educate them. Right now I am working as a PE teacher in a private school in Cadiz. I teach PE to girls between 12 to 16 yo. I also coach a team of volleyball.
I am available from the 8th of July until the 15th of August
ABOUT ME
I am a very active person. I consider myself curious, proactive and enthusiastic. I am very responsible and mature too. I may seem shy and calm at first, but I love to do all kind of activities.In my free time I tend to do different things, some of them are related to sport (even though my coordination is not very good) such as: running, playing volleyball, dancing, playing table tennis,football,climbing, hiking,... I have a lot of hobbies that are not sport related. I like everything that need a pair of hands on, for example I really enjoy handcrafts, cooking, puzzles, go out, read books, watch series,...My level of English is good, have a certificate and advanced level of English. Probably right now is a bit rusty, but I love to talk so I am sure it'll improve.
I have a driving licence. During mysecond year in London, I used to drive a car so driving is not a problem for me.
I would like to join with the family and do a lot of activities with children (and the whole family too). But the most important thing is to have fun with them. I am 27 so I think this could be the last chance of being an aupair and join in a family abroad before I turn to my next chapter.
I WANT TO BE AN AUPAIR BECAUSE
I love the idea of living the experience of being an aupair again. From my point of view, being an au pair (the way I was) is a unique experience. I have been very lucky to live with a family who gave me so much love and made me feel part of it. This is why I am looking for a family who is keen in having an Aupair.
I want to try my best in order to have a summer in which the children and me have a stress-free summer with tonnes of fun and enjoy while we go out and do many diffrent activities and of course, learn from each other. That doesnt mean I wont educate them. I am their reference, like their big sister who cares and educates them.
