Hello dear family!
I am an Au Pair wanting to know new cultures, new places and learn / perfect new languages.
It will be wonderful to share this experience together!
I'm from Venezuela but I currently live in Lima Peru. I love new things and I'm not afraid to start from scratch. I think that's what it's all about, no matter how many times we fall but the strength with which we get up. I studied a medium technical career in Business Administration in my country, and then I started a Bachelor in Political Studies that I could not finish because of the crisis in Venezuela. Shortly after traveling through Colombia and Ecuador, I arrived in Peru in search of new opportunities. This country has become the home of my family. I live with my dad, my mom, my sister of 15 years and my brother of 18 years. We live near the sea so we like to walk on the beaches of the coast. My brothers and I also skated, we like that kind of sports, as well as riding a bicycle because we help the environment and we exercise. I must admit that I love outdoor activities. I love cooking, not only food from my country, but also food from places I have been, I like to cook with lots of vegetables but above all healthy food.
In my experience, I have been babysister since I was 16, taking care of babies and children respectively. I have done it full time during vacations and part time when I start university; in Venezuela and here in Peru. I also work in the education of children in the church I attended in Venezuela and I currently do the same in a church here in the city of Lima every Sunday. I am passionate about service and humanitarian work, so I was an active volunteer of the Red Cross for 4 years, working especially in vulnerable communities, in orphanages and nursing homes. To be from Venezuela where the cultural diversity is so varied and to have been a volunteer of the Red Cross, where we received so many international delegates, allowed me to meet many people of different nationalities and fun places of the world. This lifestyle opened my mind and shaped my character to what I am today; we are citizens of the world and each person with their customs brings humanity and meaning to everything at once; that's why I want to be an Au Pair. I want to travel and know places and people, and marvel at what I get with each new dawn.
