Dear family
My name is Amelia, my family and friends call me Millie. I am 16 years old, and will be 17 by July.
I live in the North Of England in a small town close to York and Newcastle. I am passionate about learning Spanish, which I have been learning for six years now. I am very close to my family, both my mother and father are engineers and I get along very well with them and my younger brother, Joseph.

I currently work as a shop assistant and have previously volunteered in a charity shop

In my family, I have often looked after my younger brother (14 years) and younger cousins (8 and 14 years). I have also babysat neighbour's children.
I have previously been a girl guide, in which i often looked after younger guides within my unit. At college, I volunteer to mentor a group of younger pupils through their first years of high school.
In college, I volunteer as a classroom assistant in a Spanish class of younger pupils.

I would love to become an au pair in Spain as I would love the variety of spending time with a Spanish family, and the challenge of improving my language skills!
