Hi families! Welcome to my profile!
To you that you are reading me, I want to tell you first of all, that, if I had to give myself the opportunity to be able to do the au pair I would be grateful to you forever. I have always had the desire to travel and to know new cultures.
My name is Ludovica and I am 23 years old. I come from a small country in the west of Sardinia called Gonnosfanadiga which has 7,000 inhabitants. Since I was 3 years old I did ballet dancing that I finished at age 19. Age in which I moved to Cagliari to continue studies after graduation. Unfortunately, the university of my choice did not fully satisfy my interests. So in October 2018 I decided to stop and devote myself to something that could reflect my creativity. I am now looking for something that can match my interests that concern photography and art.
Personally I am a very organized person, I have been living alone since I was 19 and I am currently 23.
I consider myself a very sunny and cheerful person, very curious and with a great desire to learn.
I grew up in a family with two other brothers who are currently 36 and 28 years old, and that I love to death. Thanks to them if I have cultivated many of my passions including photography, cinema, art etc.
I'm passionate about cooking. Since I was a child, I have been working in the kitchen and I would be very happy to be able to teach something to children too. Who knows, I could do some activity about it.
As I have already specified, I am available to do some small housework as well. Like: to cook, to keep clean (at least) my room and eventually the bath that is given to me in disposition, I can cook for the children and if necessary to wash the stuff.
The motivation that push me to choose to become an au pair are:
1.Traveling: traveling is always a beautiful experience, and working as an Au Pair offers the possibility to choose which state to visit. You can choose to live in a small reality, in a small town or in the most important cities. I have free time to explore the country where I am and appreciate it in all its characteristics.
2.Language: You do not always have the opportunity to improve English and learn one or more languages.
3.Know other cultures: you can do a search on the internet, you can read a thousand books, but the only way to really understand how people with a culture different from mine live, is to live like them.
4.Open the mind: after an experience like this my mind will open even more or at least I am positive about it. I will learn to adapt myself, to do things that I did not do before and even my thoughts will change.
5.Grow and mature: I will be even further from home than it is already and I will have new responsibilities.
6.Working with children: There is not much to describe in detail. We learn from children often much more than from adults.
7.I will appreciate my country more: telling of my nation, of my city will make me even more proud of my country and I will find beauty even in what I previously took for granted.
