My name is Sam, I'm from Maine, United States and am very interested in taking my childcare skills abroad!

I am seventeen years old and have been taking care of children professionally for five years. I became a certified Safe Sitter when I was thirteen and started babysitting directly after. When I was fourteen I became a ski instructor, which I am very proud of because skiing is one of my passions! Since then I have been working with children of all age ranges consistently. I love spending time doing arts/crafts, sports, and creative play with children. Personally, I enjoy hiking, exploring, spending time with friends, doing photography, acting, and cooking. I love to cook but am a pescatarian meaning I do not eat meat. I am enthusiastic, kind, ready to take care of kids, and willing to do some housework!

I have three sisters, ages fourteen through seventeen. My parents are divorced so I mostly live with my mother in a small, coastal Maine town. I am looking to build a strong bond with the family I stay with for a month in July or August!

When I was younger my family hosted three au pairs from France. We had so much fun together that I decided to try and become an au pair myself. I also love traveling! I have been to Japan, Germany, and Austria so becoming an au pair abroad seems like a perfect opportunity to experience international culture and utilize my childcare skills!
