Nanny/ au pair called Havana, looking for live in job during summer months.

A little about me, I have been born and brought up in London, my mother is a lawyer and my dad is a local government officer. We have a dog and two cats. I have travelled to many countries, including France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Greece Cuba, Iceland and most recently India. I play the piano to a high level, and can teach your children if they should be interested. I also learnt the clarinet, oboe and recorder at school. I enjoy acting and singing. I have work experience in a local library where I volunteered for a number of months, during which I read with local primary school children and helped them learn to read. Whilst at secondary school, I was a house captain and a mentor, this meant I helped children younger than me struggling with maths and English with homework and helped boost their confidence in the areas they were struggling.
I was competitive swimmer, performing at a national level, I was the fastest female swimmer for my age group in my county this means I am able to teach swimming skills and aid pool safety. I have taught close family friends to swim before and would love to help your children become more confident in the water. I am also a generally fit and active person and enjoy spending time outdoors. I am a passionate foodie and I love cooking, I know many tasty dishes and am able to follow recipes very well for a delicious result. I consider myself a caring person and know how important it is to nurture and love children

I have two main reasons for wanting to work as an au pair; the first being my love of children and the second being my love of the French language. I intend to take French at a level and then possibly study the language at university. Working in France will enhance my language skills and knowledge of French culture will make my studies more approachable and enjoyable.
I have always loved spending time with children, whether I have been playing with them or helping them learn to read, I've found the energetic and imaginative nature of children to bring me a lot of joy. I find working with children to be both stimulating and rewarding.
I have also h been lucky enough to have a brilliant childhood, I have thrived with the love I have received from my parents and have learnt about the importance of nurturing young minds through playing and learning from them, I hope to offer your child/children the same love and fun I have been lucky to have.
