Nanny/groom/au pair/pet care in UK

Hello,

I am an organised and mature 20 year old. I am very flexible with my working hours.

In 2015 I enrolled onto a childcare course which I really enjoyed. However I didn't complete all the practical part due to a bad horse riding accident. I am now thankfully fully recovered! I did complete all my theory work and learnt a lot!

I have just under 10 years experience with all kinds of horses/ponies. Having had my own for 7 of those years. I have done everything from basic schooling and hacking to hunting and showjumping. I am very hardworking and happy to muck out/poo pick and any other jobs! I don't mind any weather-I love being outside and keeping busy!

I have experience at a doggy day care where I completed a weeks work experience in 2015 and then went on to cover any holidays the owner had. Having just completed a week covering holiday for them which included greeting customers at pick up and drop of times, exercising and feeding customers doggies, cleaning and disinfecting all dog areas and also dealing with any cash payments from customers. An average day would involve 25-30 dogs ranging from Dobermans to Chihuahuas. I thoroughly enjoy this and I am now looking for something with more hours and something I can progress into.

After securing a job as a Domiciliary care worker which included a 3 day training course (see CV for any details), I then went onto starting my own dog care business 'Waggy Tails'. I provided home dog boarding, dog walks, home visits and house/pet sitting. I gained more experience using social media where I used both Instagram and Facebook to promote my business. I also used the top dog care apps called Tailster and Pawshake to help promote along side other social media and using Microsoft office to create forms and maintaining any records. On my house/pet sitting jobs I dealt with everything from walking the dogs to cleaning the house. This would include hovering, mopping, laundry, dealing with deliveries and household jobs.

I am happy and confident to work on my own and use my own initiative. I am more than happy communicating with customers/people via phone calls, texts, social media, face to face conversations etc. I have my own manual car and have been driving for just over 2 years and am a confident driver. I have attached my CV with all details of experience and training courses. I did complete a first aid course in 2015 which did include CPR but this did run out end of last year!
