Hei!

I am currently an auditor for one of the Philippine's largest audit firms and am looking to explore new cultures especially Norway's culture. I'm interested in becoming an Au Pair because of the opportunity to immerse myself in another culture other than my own and I believe that there is no better way to experience this than through the everyday life of a family.

I am outgoing and will always be on a can-do and "Game!" attitude if considered. There's nothing more exciting than immersing oneself with different cultures. I am dedicated to learning the Norwegian language and culture and I'm very excited to be able to learn it first-hand through a host family living in Norway.

I have no formal experience with childcare but I have many relatives with children.

In my hometown, I live with my aunts and uncles where each family has it's own unit in the same building. I am constantly in the presence of my brother who is currently 10 years old, 5 cousins who are less than 13 years old and 4 of my cousin's children who are less than 8 years old. You can imagine the amount of playtime I have with these kids.

In terms of childcare, I have experience in raising my brother who was born last 2008 when I was about 12 years old. I helped my mother take care of him, feed him, wash him, teach him, take him to school, etc. My brother can't see through his left eye and is near sighted with his right so this was a major challenge for us on how to help him grow up without letting him feel as if he was left behind or handicapped. He turned out okay by the way. He's somewhat of a bully to his cousins now. But he's kind and affectionate which I can proudly say is a result of how we raised him.
