Dear Host Family!

Thank you for your interest in my profile! My name is Daniela and I am currently in the process of studying an undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance. I arrived in Portugal in the beginning of this year after completing my primary and secondary education in South Africa; I was born in Portugal but my parents immigrated to South Africa when I was a baby. I am looking for a job that will give me the opportunity to do something I am passionate about and something that I can learn from, taking care of children! I am academically inclined having achieved in the top 10 of my class throughout high school and I am a performer excelling in the arts as well. I am a well-rounded individual who is ready to learn, and I believe that au pairing is the best way to spend my free time because there is nothing that matches the humility and joy that a child can teach an older person. I have grown up with 2 younger sisters and a family of 10 cousins all around the ages of between 2 and 10 so I have experience dealing with and being around children. I have all the love, energy and patience in the world for children. I am seeking an experience in a home with love and warmth. I am anticipating the creation of a constructive relationship whereby I can learn from my employer and I hope they will be able to learn something from me as well. I am a hard worker and a fast learner and I have always been a child at heart. This is not something I want to do simply to earn some extra money, I am seeking an experience that I know I will never forget and I am ready to establish a constructive relationship that will benefit me in the long run.
