Nanny/Au pair from Kenya called Jane,Looking for a job with a nice family starting from 1 January 2019.
Dear family,
My name is Jane,24 years old from Kenya.I come from a family of 9,I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers. My older brother is married and has 3 children. My elder sister is also married and has a son and she is also expecting another baby. I helped in raising my nephews and nieces since I have a passion in care giving and I am currently undertaking a certificate in care giving at Alison.com where I also did a Diploma in nursing and patient care.
My first language is,Swahili, and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in preschool and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school and college I attended.I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don't want to listen to me.
When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book.
As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months.
I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the au pair arrangement.
