Hi there! My name's Elli and I'm 18 years old. I come from Finland and I'm dreaming about becoming an au pair after graduating in spring 2019, when I'll be 19.

I'm planning to take a gap year and become an au pair in the US. This winter I'm going to my local kindergarten as an intern to gain 200h of experience with kids. I'm looking for a family, who won't mind me not having a drivers license. I have a little money issue with that, (drivers license costs 2000€ in Finland) so that's why I'm not able to get one. I wish to find a family on my own first, and then the agency in order to save money.

I'm a fast learner so I believe I'll adapt to almost anything. I also love traveling and almost never feel homesick. I understand how heavy the impact of the experienced childhood is for every human being. This is why I want to take raising children seriously, so that when they grow up, they can be a part of making the world a better place.
