Experienced British nanny seeks position with family in France, ideally Paris. Available from the beginning of October.
Hello! My name's Linda, and I am calm, creative, organised and energetic, with two years experience as a nanny in Paris as well as eight years experience supporting children's learning and social development in schools in England.
As a nanny I have worked for two families in Paris, both with three children, initially two girls and a boy (aged 6, 8 and 10), and then three boys aged 9, 11 and 13. References are available from both these lovely families on request.
My duties for both families included collecting the children from school, cooking meals for the children, evening routine (homework, showers etc), some grocery shopping and light housework, as well as of course organising fun age appropriate activities either at home or outside. I have a background in art and music and am confident in finding creative ways to engage with children, as well as in supporting their language development and confidence in speaking english.
Prior to working as a nanny, I have a wealth of experience working in schools. As a teaching assistant I have worked with children 1:1 and in groups to improve literacy and support their understanding in class. I was also responsible in my most recent UK job as Pupil Care Coordinator for providing emotional and behavioural support to children as well as being he main point of contact for families at the school.
I would love to continue nannying in Paris and to find a role with a new family ideally beginning in October. I'm more than happy to answer any further questions and ppl forward to speaking to you soon!
