My name is Alex. I am from Kenya and I live in Nairobi,which is the capital city,together with my parents and younger brother and two cat pets Kel and Meg.I'm passionate about kids,cheerful,caring,mature,adaptive,respectful,flexible,hardworking,trustworthy,time conscious. I like swimming,going to the cinemas,cycling,reading novels,cooking,travelling and playing with children. Currently am enrolled in college and I pursue a Bachelors in Child development that has given me a lot of childcare experience over the years but am on vacation now.During my last vacation,I worked as an intern at a children society in Nairobi where my duties were to prepare meals,help the children with their mental and social development,organised healthy games and cleaning the playing areas. The kids were aged 2-6 years. I have also taken care of two children aged 4 and 5 years for a period of 12 months. The duties I performed were preparing meals and washing the utensils,washing and ironing of the childrens' clothes,cleaning their toys and play areas,preparing them for school,taking them to school and collecting them back,reading to them bedtime stories and taking them for swimming. I have referees who can provide the reference.
