Dear host family,
My name is Shana, I am a 30 year old Brazilian and a future Au Pair. I am a caring and caring nanny with 4 years of experience working with small children, children and adolescents. I love helping families relieve the tensions of everyday life by making sure their children are treated with love and patience. In addition, I love helping children learn and explore in a safe, warm and cheerful environment. Arts and crafts, age-appropriate cooking, singing and story-telling are some of my favorite activities. I am also a very good pilot and I can cook very well, so I am very happy to offer high quality care to your children!
I have been a nanny for 2 consecutive years and I really enjoyed my time working with children, I really think it's a gift to see the world through their eyes. I was a full time nanny for 2 years for two different families. I took care of two amazing girls! When I arrived the sisters were 3 and 1 year old. In his routine I drove everyday for all kinds of activities, I helped with dirty clothes, cooking meals, giving baths and everything related to them. I decided to become an Au Pair because I am a trustworthy person with many experiences with children of all ages, besides, it has always been my dream to get to know the country better, to immerse myself in a new culture and, of course, to learn a new language.
I currently live alone in a city called São Paulo, I also have a little sister who I cared for since she was born when I was only 16 and an older sister who is a full time mother, so they fully support my Au Pair dream!
I am a very creative person! I like manual work, I like photography and I try to write, my dream is to write a book one day. I worked as a police officer for the government, and then in the administration of a municipality in my state. Currently working in consulting private companies that do business with the government. I work from home, which allows me to have free time to study languages.
Finally, I would describe myself as an open, patient, extroverted person, my family and my friends say that I am very funny too. I also like to cook, travel and am very energetic and easy to deal with! I love to enjoy a day in the park reading a book, or hiking ... It all depends on the weather. Spending time with my family is also very important to me!
I am very excited to realize my dream Au Pair and hope to help your children grow and learn in a happy and healthy environment!
