Au pair, 20, looking for a summer job
Hello! My name is Sophie, i'm 22 years old and I live in the beautiful capital of Hungary: Budapest. I recently got my Bachleor Degree in Psychology and before I apply for the master program I wanted to try out something different. As i grew up in a big family and also love languages and the mix of cultures I decided that being an au-pair would be the perfect opportunity for me.
Family is really important to me. I have three brothers, who i respect a lot and learned a lot from (they are more 5-10 years older than me). They are now married, and one of them has two beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with them, watching them become more and more competent and skillfull. :)
I think of myself as an independent and determined person, when i had the opportunity i decided to move out of the family house and moved together with my cousine - fortunetely our family is close-knit. I find this really nice because i learned to stand on my own, take care of myself and a household.
I love to try out new things, im quite spontaneous and outgoing, when i can i spend my time outdoors with friends.
I like to get to know new cultures and people, because i feel that a good and deep conversation with someone can enrich you the most. So that's why travelling for me means not just checking the sights and laying on the beach (which of course is also really nice :) ), but also getting in touch with the people living there.
I'm a scout leader since 2 years, i have a team of 14 children, they mean a lot to me. I meet them each week and on the weekends i organize hikes for them. It's going to be really hard to leave them while I go abroad to babysit, but I know that I will be richer with this experience and i"ll come back as a more mature person to them :)
I'm looking forward to be part of your family, to have the chance to help you and get to know you at the same time.
I can speak german with the children (my knowledge is appr. on a B2 level) , and if you want, i can help them learn English ( i had some students at home)
Feel free to contact me and ask me questions! :)
