Au-pair from Germany called Tabea, 20, is looking forward to work for a nice family, starting from 1 October.
Hey everyone,
if you're looking for a caring, loving Au-pair who is interested in the science of education, you just found the one.
I'll be happy to look after your kid(s) and help teach them to understand the world. It makes me happy to see a child's smile and to notice the learning process of children. Also seeing the individual character in each child and helping them to develop their abilities in their own time is important to me and will hopefully be my future career.
My name is Tabea and I live in Germany. I'm going to be 20 in September. I grew up in a family of five. One older sister and one younger brother. My mum spoke English with me and my siblings from birth onward, my dad German. I've got an advanced technical college entrance qualification, which actually just is one degree beneath A-levels. I've got lots of experience with kids from ages 1 to 10, as I've done various internships at a grammar school, after school childcare and kindergarten. At the moment I'm actually doing an internship in a kindergarten with the youngest child being one.
As I grew up bilingually my family travelled to Great Britain every year for two weeks until I was 14. Great Britain is kind of a second home to me.
I love to read and spend time outside.
Later I'd like study educational science for children from 0 to 10.
I've always liked to work with children and it fascinates me how they grow up and mature.
My mum was an Au-pair when she was my age and made lots of good experiences, and so did my sister. I also want to make the experience of living in another country and help a family and create my own memories.
Learning languages is something that fascinates me. As I'm already fluent in English it will be easy for me to live in England. I want to attend a language school to get the C2 Proficiency Certificate. After that exam I'd like to learn another language - preferably Turkish or Arabian (that will be helpful for my career), so it would be good if there was a language school nearby.
I'd be happy to hear from you!
