Izzy, Au Pair from USA, looking to live with a family in Mexico to learn the language and culture while helping around the house and caring for children and teaching them English

My name is Izzy. I have two parents and three sisters. I am 18 and will be 19 this year. My youngest sister, Irene, is 12. Caroline is 16 and my oldest sister, Anna, is 19. She is studying acting at a university. My parents both work in education. My dad is a first grade teacher and my mom teaches at the secondary level and has a college advising business. I am used to a lot of activity around the house. We often have friends and family to our home. We also have a dog and two cats.
I really enjoy baking and often will go to the kitchen and make desserts for other people. I also enjoy being outside. One of my favorite places to go is the beach. I enjoy hanging out with my sisters and my best friend.
I have had numerous experiences caring for children. I started watching kids when I was 12. I have been a volunteer at our church preschool for 5 years, enjoying some play time with children ages 3-4. I also spend an hour each day in my dad's first grade classroom. Sometimes I make them cookies and my dad will let me organize an activity for fun. I also spend an hour every day in a third grade classroom at a Spanish Immersion School--where my youngest sister attends. I get to practice my Spanish there. I have had 4 years of Spanish class at my high school, but I don't think it's a great way to learn and would like an immersion experience. I would love to combine my enjoyment for kids with my desire to learn more Spanish. I hope to do this for a year before starting at the university.
