Nanny/au pair from France called Aude, almost 20, looking for a job with a nice and welcoming family, starting from 1 january !

I'm an almost 20 french woman, currently living in Nantes, in the west of France, a pretty big city. My parents divorced when I was 5, so I grew up with my mother, my step-father and 3 step-brothers, aged 11 (Nicolas), 18 (Xenki) and 21 (Alexandre). We lived in Dordogne, in the South-West, in the countryside. I have great memories of my childhood, we were outside very often, always the three of us (my younger brother Nicolas was still a baby) : making huts by climbing in the trees, pretending to be adventurers, biking, playing with our toys. We argued a lot (brothers and sisters always do !), but never for a long time, we were like twins actually. I also remember my step-brother making up amazing stories with knights, dragons and treasures, that he used to relate us during meals. It truly was fantastic.
Of course, I visited my father from time to time : he moved house many times, to live in Bordeaux, St Nazaire, Dordogne too (next to my mother's house, only for a year), and finally Le Mans, in the North-West. Unfortunately, I couldn't see him very frequently, due to the distance, but now that I'm a grown up, I can visit him whenever I want !
My step-father is a vet, so my brothers and I we had the chance to do extra scholar activities. I personally chose horse-riding that I practised for 5 years, fencing for 5 years too, hip-hop dancing for a year, hand-ball, badmington, running, etc... I tried a lot of different stuff ! I've also played piano for 10 years (and I still do), ukulélé, a bit of guitare too.
I tried classic theater but now I think that I would probably prefer improvisation theater.
In conclusion, I can say that I'm a very curious person, I love to try many different activities, even the weirdest ones !
I adore reading, especially history books, I'm a fan. I have a preference for the kings period though. I watch movies (and TV shows, Game of thrones/ Orange is the new black addict) everyday, romantic ones (I love christmas movies !!), but also science-fiction, action, or historic ones. I like to do some home improvement meanwhile, such as origami, bracelets, draws, etc...
I love hanging out with my friends, talking, laughing, cheering (even though I actually need some time alone, I'm pretty independent), and I'm also very close to my family. I currently live at my aunt's house in Nantes, with my cousins, it's like a colocation ! I live there for about a year and I half (I also had my own place for a year but it was really close to my aunt's house so I was never there), since I got graduated at 18, to study philosophy (my father is a philosophy teacher so he gave me his passion). That said, I stopped university quickly, it wasn't made for me. I didn't wanted to "waste" a year doing nothing, consequently I found a job in a private school to take care of childrens aged from 3 to 10 years old, after class, like a day care. It was my first real job, and it was very cool because thank's to it, I discovered that I wanted to work with kids. It also allowed me to meet new people in this town.
In parallel with that, I've found a "Service Civique", it's like a work experience in a structure, as an organization, a radio, a company, a journal, etc...
Then I worked in an organization called CORTO Loisirs for 8 months : their goals are to propose summer camps and animations for kids aged from 8 to 18 years old, in France and foreign countries too, such as Portugal, Italy, Spain, etc...
They also want to provide open-mindedness and diversity, therefore, they are welcoming kids with mental or physical handicap. The distinctive characteristic of their camps, is that in them, the kids, and also the organizers, are pretending to be private detectives resolving an investigation ( related and prepared upstream by the organizing team and the volunteers). Those investigations can be in a real, or fantastic scenery, and the volunteers are playing characters of it (witnesses, culprit, etc... They must disguise, sometimes in fantastic characters such as a princess, or a wizard !) The point is to create a team-spirit between all the kids, around a common cause . They have to search for proofs, questionning people, thinking together, therefore they become really autonomous ! It is really fun, both for them and us, and it develops imagination. When my "Service Civique" contract ended, I kept working with them as a volunteer, because I really love what they propose to childrens, and I met great people around there. Thanks to them, I've been able to achieve a certificate called BAFA, to be a professional summer camp/holiday centre organizer.
After a very busy summer, full of camps with CORTO Loisirs, I quited my job in the private school, and my appartment, in order to travel. I've been in Reunion Island for a month, and it was really amazing. I've made a lot of scuba diving, hiking (wonderfull landscape), great meeting, great moments. I came back a few days ago, but I want to keep travelling.
I really think that being an au pair is a perfect opportunity for me to combine my pleasure to work with childs, and my desire to discover foreign countries, learn new languages, culture, etc...
I would love to share my passions with your kids, and I'll do my best to take care of them. I'm really motivated, serious with my job and full of dynamism !
I'm available starting from january, to june, for as long as you want me !
If my profile interest you, even a bit, or if you have any question, please sent me a message so we can discuss in detail.
