My name is Denver, I'm 24 and from Essex in England. I am a very out going, happy go lucky kind of girl. I have previously worked in a nursery for 2 years and have level 2 diploma in children and young people's work force. I also have a BTEC level 3 diploma in health and social care.
I have a lot of childcare experience and in my spare time I usually hang out with my 9 year old sister and my three nephews who are 6, 5 and 3 and I now have a beautiful baby niece who I love spending time with on visits home, she is 1. Most people think it's a handful looking after 5 children under 7 at one time but I honestly love it.
I love to travel and in the past year have been out to Marrakech a few times to volunteer in the orphanages and the local schools, I absolutely loved it. When I go abroad I'm very adventurous, I have climbed the atlas mountains, I have jumped from numerous waterfalls. I love the sea, speed boats, waterfalls, scuba diving and snorkling. I'm a bit of a thrill seeker and I'm not afraid of a challenge :)
I have completed my 120 hour TEFL course so I can teach English as a Foreign language which is an extra qualification. I am also learning French and hopefully will be able to speak a little soon.
I have looked after a little girl with cerebral palsy when I worked at the nursery and also I do care work now for individuals with learning disabilities.
I love to travel and I love to meet new people, I have been told I'm very easy to get along with and I will love to get to know new families. I made some amazing friends when I was volunteering and I am still in touch with them now. I really enjoy all of life's experiences and I will really love to meet a family who can be a massive part of my life and who I hope I will form a close bond with and remain close with.
I have currently just spent a year in Cyprus with a family working for them as their Nanny for their two adorable boys who were 3 and the other 10 months when I arrived. I had a lovely time caring for the boys and also becoming part of their family. I absolutely loved it and enjoyed also exploring the country during my duration there. I enjoyed spending time with the children on their own too and took them on a few days out individually as I think one on one time is important. I have stayed in touch with the family since I left Cyprus and will see the boys when I can, they have become like extended members of my own family now.
I absolutely adore children and love making up new games to play, building forts, art and crafts, using our imagination to write mini stories. I used to love coming up with new ideas and games when I worked at the nursery. I can be both silly and fun with the children and can be calm and collected when I need to be. I will read bed time stories or even make them up and I will do everything I can to make sure that the children smile and they are happy.
I also don't mind doing some house work and keeping it clean and tidy for when you get home from work. I have been driving for 6 years and have a clean license if you require me to have one.
