Nanny/aupair from philippines living in Oslo,Norway Called Romayne,Im looking for a job starting Mid November 2017.
I am writing to you to express my interest in filing this position. I have been working as an Au Pair for the last 4 1/2 years name is Romayne Shivanni R. . I was born In a small town of Wao, Lanao del Sur, Philippines on February 25, 1989. I was born in a large family with 5 sisters and 2 brothers. As a child, I took up associate in Hotel and Restaurant Management in Lourdes College, Cagayan de Oro City. With my dedication and perseverance I graduated as an Associate in Hotel ad Restaurant Management.(HRM).
I loved surrounded by kids, it makes me feel like a kid also. No worries. No problems, just being enjoying life. I also love cooking and baking. I am very eager to learn more about international cuisine. I don't know how to drive a car but I'm very interested to take up lesson in driving if I will be given a chance. I want also to learn swimming because it is my weakness.I am flexible easy to be with and a good listener. I do task one at a time just to make sure I did it right. I am willing to learn and to be trained to improve myself.
In the year 2012, I went to Hongkong and started to work as a domestic helper to a Dutch Family. They have two girls, Livia was 6 years old and Evi was 4 years old. I only work 3 months because the family needed to moved back to the Netherland. They hired me as an au pair for one year. My journey started with them. I have started to apply what I have learned from school, the cooking and dealing with all the task given to me, applying time management to perform my duty properly. I had given the chance to learn their language and culture and to explore Holland and other European country.I have finished my one year contract to this family.
By the time before my contract ended with the Hoogland family in Holland, I found a new host family in Denmark for two years. It was a four member family. A single dad Martin and 3 kids. They 14 y/o,12 y/o & 10 y/o. When I became part of the family, Martin, was a very busy man, due to his work he travels a lot.He trusted me with everything. I was taking care of the kids, preparing the meals, and the household chores.
Since then being an au pair I found it very challenging and more interesting especially meeting different nationality and you will learn a lot from them. So, I decided to look for another host family and I found here in Oslo, Norway. My current host family is the most challenging. They are five members of the family. Mom and Dad and they have twin daughter Iben and Malene a 7 years old and Max was 2 years old when I came in. They have a Jack Russel dog named Eddie. I've been here for 18 months. My main task to this family is to prepare breakfast and dinner and household chores when the kids are in school. I have been living with the host family for the duration of my employment. My main responsibilities have been the day to day care of 3 young children. I'm taking I'm taking Max to the kindergarten and we bring Eddie along with us. I looked after the twin when they arrived from school and help a bit with their English homework. I'm also making the homemade gluten-free bread and cracker because Iben can't eat normal bread. My contract here in Norway will end on January 22, 2018. In any reason if I will find a new host family and they need me earlier before my contract ends my host family is willing to let me go in the middle of November.
