Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

SAFETY WARNING: if you see any contact details below, DO NOT CONTACT THIS FAMILY but report it to us! It might be a scammer who will ask you for money.

We are an Irish family living in Cork. We are a busy family and need an extra pair of hands to help with the kids and around the house: my husband travels with work every month. We are fun and easy going! The most important thing for us is that the kids are happy and learning new things.

Our 7yr old and 5yr old go to school and attend after school. So it's Just Aeryn 1yr old to mind during the day.

Full time position includes two evenings babysitting per week. The qualities we are looking for are; being kind and honest and caring towards the kids, making sure they are safe and feeling secure. Being flexible is important knowing that sometimes something crops up and it's an hour extra but you can take the hour back on another day! Respectful of our home it's important that our Aupair has the maturity to talk things over with us so that it does not result in a misunderstanding that then causes tension in the house. Being patient is so important with children and teaching them also to be patient. We do not slap or shout at the children we expect the Aupair to follow our way but to introduce her own fun way of getting the Kids to help out at home and generally be good kids! We like fun and adventure so if you do then we will show you some of the world help you with English if you need help and make sure you have a place to call home in Ireland. We also travel with work and have plans to be in Malta for a few months this year and also we will be traveling to America. We need our Aupair to be comfortable with newborns as I am pregnant also expecting in July.
