Nanny/Au Pair from Nigeria/UK, 30, looking for a job with a nice family while studying.
I am a young woman in her early 30s from Nigeria, who came to the United Kingdom to obtain a postgraduate degree. I want to work in the development sector and being fluent in a second language is an added advantage. I have been studying French intermittently but have never really been good at it because I have rarely had cause to use it. I want to learn at a faster rate by immersion while doing any job that I can.I have worked as a child minder and a carer back home in Nigeria when I was unemployed and have also worked with children in the United Kingdom through volunteering activities (REACHOUT!: a mentoring charity). I have an enhanced criminal record check. I am hard working, clean and highly disciplined. I am a reliable and trustworthy person; someone you can entrust your children, ward and property to. Besides, I love working with children which was why I enrolled in the mentoring charity. I am looking for a family that can accommodate me while I study French in any nearby school. My preferable location is Nice based on some schools that I have seen on the internet. However, I don't really mind other locations as long as there is a nearby French school that offers a good short term programme in French Language for foreigners, at an affordable price.I hope to hear from someone and I am sure you will enjoy my companionship.
